CORTO MOLTEDO AND THEIR MUST HAVE BAGS

While walking on the streets of Milan looking for some fashion inspirations, we discovered an amazing boutique with bags of a brand called Corto Moltedo. We fell in love at first sight with both, the bags and the design of a store.  The shop’s managers were more than happy to let us shoot inside the boutique so we are presenting You an exclusive material that You will not see anywhere else.
Corto Moltedo was founded in Paris by Gabrielecorto Moltedo, the son of Laura and Vittorio Moltedo- founders of Bottega Veneta. Nevertheless, brand remains true to its origins, that’s why the production and the headquarters are based in Italy.
Each bag is a true masterpiece of quality and design. Every piece is unique and that’s what makes the brand so special. Our favorite bags were the big colorful clutches in a shape of a cassette- so old-school! The bestseller model though is Priscilla, a classic of the brand. You can find it every season in different variations of colors.  If it comes to clutches the bestseller model is called Susan and it comes with a great selection of colors and designs.
This is how the designer describes his inspirations:
I was raised between New York City and Italy and the two cultures and landscapes have undoubtedly framed my artistic vision, from concrete Greenwich Village streets of the 80’s and 90’s lined with graffiti, wide Uptown avenues, where chic meets chic on every corner, to the frentic energy of Times Square where I spent endless hours on the hunt for fresh new music. Art and music remain my greatest inspirations, evident from the detail of each handbag I create.
Enjoy the fusion of masterpiece of Italian handcraft and NYC old-school design. This must be the hit!
