FLOWER POWER ON THE STREETS OF ROME!

In these hot summer days, the biggest European cities are getting full of tourists, while at the same time local people are leaving.
Recently I visited one of the most beautiful and interesting capitals, the eternal city of Rome. While walking on the streets of Rome I wanted to take a closer look at people and their style. I haven't met any of the locals but in the crowd of tourists I spotted and photographed 3 beautiful girls. In 35 degrees heat they still looked fresh, stylish and fashionable!
The hit of this summer-long dresses with flower pattern, proved another time that they can suit every girl. Take a look!

MOODS OF NORWAY-HAPPY CLOTHES FOR HAPPY PEOPLE!

While visiting the capital of Norway, I got a chance to see one of the biggest and the most spectacular shows during Oslo Fashion Week-Moods of Norway. The location of the show as well as the collection have been always a big surprise. This season it was organized in a form of a picnic in the picturesque outdoor scenery. The collection was kept in a mood of preppy elegance. Life-size tractors, symbols of the brand, were placed everywhere. To warm up atmosphere before the show, horse races took place.

Short history of the brand:

Two local designers Simen Staalnacke and Peder Børresen, gave birth to a concept soon to be known, worn, and adored, as The Moods of Norway. Soon they met up with the third musketeer, Stefan Dahlkvist and drew their lines for the coming collections.
Moods of Norway is known for its strong colours and playful attitude in designing the clothes. The designers are able to find inspiration in everything that is traditionally Norwegian but at the same time they make it something fashionable and unique.
As the designers say: 'Our main goal, besides making our grandmas happy, is to make happy clothes for happy people around the world'.
And therefore each collection is joyful, colourful and energetic.
This internationally renowned lifestyle brand is represented in Norway, Sweden, Benelux, Switzerland, Spain, Japan and USA.

Some people I spotted at the show.....Definitely You wouldn't say that Scandinavians don't know how to play with fashion. Big plus for creativity and playing with colours!

KRISTIAN AADNEVIK FOR RICCOVERO SPRING/SUMMER 2012

Kristian Aadnevik - one of the biggest names in Norwegian fashion, he lives and designs in London. He’s been dressing many celebrities, such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Nicole Scherzinger, Fergie, Christina Aguilera and many others.

His glam rock collections got him a nickname Prince of Darkness. As Kristian explains: I wanted to give black metal a beautiful expression, and I liked being able to put a positive spin on a sub-culture that is often seen as something negative.

The designer presented his third collection in collaboration with the clothing brand Riccovero at Oslo Ballroom during Oslo Fashion Week. He definitely has thrown his glam rock touch in that stunning collection by combining elegant and chic fabrics with leather, metal and crystals.

We love him for creating sexy and super feminine version of usually predictable glam rock style.
